What you’ll do

This role supports Community Aged Care to deliver quality services efficiently and smoothly through exceptional administrative support and customer service.

You’ll work in a high-volume, fast-paced office environment where initiative matters. You’ll be trusted to manage your workload, think on your feet and escalate appropriately when needed.

You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:

  • Managing and redirecting high-volume phone calls (care partners, finance, internal teams) and overseeing email inbox
  • Providing professional customer service to clients over the phone and responding to enquiries in a timely manner
  • Delivering broad administrative support including filing, stock ordering, data entry, photocopying, postage and document preparation
  • Preparing and distributing minutes, mail-outs and marketing materials (including mail merge)
  • Supporting finance administration including validation of services, invoice and statement support, and basic accounts tasks
  • Logging feedback in Riskman and assisting with quality processes
  • Providing in-clinic scheduling and administration back-up support when required

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration (or equivalent proven experience)
  • 5+ years’ high-level administrative experience
  • Strong reception and customer service experience handling diverse customers
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and problem-solve
  • High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office capability (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Confidence managing inboxes and high email volumes

We would also love you to have:

  • Experience in aged care or community services
  • Experience in billing, finance administration or service validation
  • Mail merge experience
  • Experience using client management systems
