Who are we looking for?

We have an opportunity for a Payroll Systems Analyst to join our team to deliver system updates and improvements, and contribute to new system implementation which impact payroll processing. This opportunity would suit an experienced payroll professional who looks for solutions, opportunities, and ways to make things work. While at the same time being hands-on with payroll processing to support the team as required.

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Operate as a subject matter expert on payroll related projects including new system implementations.
  • Liaise with IT and external software consultants to support system improvements in line with business requirements.
  • Provide analysis, testing and reporting for payroll projects.
  • Support the payroll team to make payroll process changes to ensure smooth flow of payroll processing with the introduction of new systems and integrations.
  • Support the delivery of end-to-end payroll processing as well as end of month and end of financial year preparation and processing.

What do you need to bring?

  • Experience in complex end-to-end payroll process.
  • Experience with payroll systems (we use TechOne), including system enhancements and improvements.
  • Experience in system testing and reporting results.
  • Highly solutions-focused with the ability to identify opportunities for change and improvement and to deliver those.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Inquisitive, adaptable, open to change and different ways.
