What you’ll do

As a Program Support Officer, you'll be the heartbeat of our Community for Children's team. Providing high-level administrative support, coordinating community events and training, and helping deliver meaningful projects that support families and children. No two days are the same, although this is a desk based role, you will also have opportunities to get out into the community and see your work come to life.

This position is based in Christies Beach, .8FTE on a fixed-term contract until 30th June 2026.

You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:

● Coordinating bookings, meetings, and community events with precision and care

● Supporting contract and procurement processes, including invoicing and data entry

● Developing newsletters, briefing notes, and promotional materials

● Maintaining accurate records and contributing to quality and risk systems

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:

● High-level administrative experience, ideally in a community services setting

● A passion for supporting children, families, and community wellbeing

● Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors before they become problems

● Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team first mindset

We would also love you to have:

● A Certificate in Office/ Business Administration or Community Services

● Flexibility and initiative, the ability to adapt and step in when needed
