That’s how many South Australians our people support each year.

As one of the state’s leading not-for-profits, we’re making a meaningful impact at scale. From foster care to aged care and everything in between, our services are as diverse as the people and communities we serve - and we’re growing our reach for the future.

It takes a special kind of person to work in this sector. Someone with real compassion and care. Could that person be you?

Join us as a Casual Early Childhood Educator at our Daphne Street Early Learning Centre, and be part of a collaborative, inclusive team supporting children to grow, connect and thrive in their early years.

What you’ll do

As a casual Early Childhood Educator at our Daphne Street Early Learning Centre in Prospect, you’ll be part of a unique dual-facility service supporting children across both a mainstream early learning setting and our Autism Specific Early Learning Childcare Centre (ASELCC).

Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment alongside Educators and Allied Health professionals, you’ll help create inclusive, engaging learning experiences that support children’s development, participation and connection. This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to tailored learning outcomes while supporting children with diverse strengths and needs during their important early years.

You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:

  • Supporting children’s developmental goals through inclusive learning activities, supervision and personal care
  • Implementing classroom strategies and programs guided by Educators and Allied Health professionals
  • Working collaboratively with families and stakeholders to support children’s participation and progress
  • Recording observations and contributing to outcome-focused documentation that supports continuous improvement

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • Availability for a minimum of 2 full weekdays between Monday–Friday
  • Current First Aid and CPR in an education and care setting
  • Current RRHAN-EC and Child Safe Environments – Through Their Eyes training

We would also love you to have:

  • Experience supporting children aged 3 years to school age
  • Experience working with children with developmental delay and/or disability
  • Knowledge of child development and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Confidence working within inclusive or multidisciplinary early childhood environments
