Who are we looking for?

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic people to join our leading NDIS Services team to provide values-based community support to NDIS customers in accommodation settings both short and long term, as well as in the community across Adelaide and metropolitan areas.

Our program is designed to stand beside people in need, supporting them to grow stronger and develop resilience in order to live their best lives. We provide tailored individualised support and services to assist customers with their emotional, social and physical needs to improve various elements of their lives.

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Support customers with their individual daily needs and support them to build upon daily living and community engagement skills.
  • Promote community inclusion for each individual within the service, respecting their choice and decisions
  • Assist young customers and adult participants in implementing strategies to develop their life skills and reach their physical, emotional and social goals
  • Build relationships with the team, students, volunteers and all who are directly involved in the care of the individual
  • Expected to work in a 24/7 roster particularly passive sleepover shifts

What do you need to bring?

  • Minimum Certificate III in Mental Health or Disability, or equivalent
  • Availability to work in a 24/7 roster particularly passive sleepover shifts and in the community
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish positive working relationships with customers, carers / family members, guardian and other stakeholders
  • Experience working with and understanding the needs of people living with a disability and knowledge of the NDIS environment 
  • Valid First Aid and NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate
  • Clearances required for the role [NDIS Worker clearance or Disability Services Employment clearance ,Working with Children Clearance, National Police clearance, Psychosocial Assessment clearance (if applicable)] 
  • COVID-19 vaccination including the booster shot and Influenza vaccine
  • A current Australian driver's licence
