Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who can provide effective oversight to the management of our organisation's facilities. This includes leading the Facilities team, implementing best practices, and engaging in strategic planning to optimise performance of AnglicareSA's assets.

We are seeking an individual who is proactive and strategic in asset management, prioritising a forward-thinking approach over reactive measures. The candidate should excel in bridging any gaps between internal stakeholders and the facilities team, with a strong focus on people leadership.

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Leading a stable, small team of experienced Facilities Coordinators and Administration staff.
  • Travel to multiple sites including Residential Aged Care, Independent Living Units and Corporate facilities.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with key facility users across Residential Aged Care, Corporate, and other AnglicareSA utilised facilities.
  • Focus on compliance to procedures and processes to drive financial operational improvements for internal stakeholders whilst increasing productivity and safety.
  • Utilisation of asset lifecycle costing processes to manage long term asset management planning.

What do you need to bring?

  • Proven experience managing a facilities team and a proactive and strategic leadership approach.
  • Proven experience in facility management in a diverse, multi-site organisation.
  • Experience in determining relevant scope for major capital works.
  • Ability to work outside the scope of business hours as required.
  • Experience in development of strategic plans, budgetary management, and risk assessment against organisational needs.
