What you’ll do

As a Support Worker, you’ll play an important role in empowering people living with disability to live their best lives. You’ll provide personalised support in accommodation services as well as in the community across Adelaide and metropolitan areas.

Every day, you’ll be making a difference by helping individuals build resilience, strengthen their independence, and feel connected to their community. You’ll be part of a supportive, values-based team that’s committed to standing alongside people in need.

You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:

  • Supporting customers with daily living needs and encouraging skill development for greater independence.
  • Promoting community inclusion and respecting individual choice in all aspects of support.
  • Assisting customers to achieve their physical, emotional, and social goals through tailored strategies.
  • Building positive relationships with customers, families, colleagues, and others involved in care.

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum Certificate III in Disability, Mental Health or equivalent qualification.
  • Availability for a 24/7 roster with at least three full days of availability, including passive sleepovers between Monday and Friday.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and supportive relationships.
  • Valid First Aid certificate, NDIS Worker Orientation Module, NDIS Worker Clearance, Working with Children Clearance, National Police Clearance, and a current full Australian driver’s licence.

We would also love you to have:

  • Experience working with people living with disability and an understanding of the NDIS environment.
  • Mental health qualifications or relevant experience.
