What you’ll do

Join a collaborative multidisciplinary Allied Health team and help older people maintain their independence, mobility and confidence.

Based at our Playford clinic, you’ll enjoy a varied combination of clinic-based and community work. Approximately two days each week will be spent delivering individual appointments, group classes and hydrotherapy at the clinic, with support from an Allied Health Assistant. Your remaining days will involve community visits within a geographically zoned area aligned, where possible, with your location and preferences.

You’ll have the autonomy to deliver evidence-based physiotherapy within a holistic, person-centred model of care, supporting customers to achieve meaningful goals and continue living well in their own homes.

You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:

• Assessing, treating and managing a broad range of musculoskeletal, neurological, mobility and rehabilitation needs.
• Developing personalised treatment plans that promote independence, positive ageing and improved quality of life.
• Delivering individual appointments, group classes and hydrotherapy programs with support from an Allied Health Assistant.
• Partnering with customers, families, carers and other health professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes.
• Contributing to the ongoing development and growth of innovative community Allied Health services.

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration.
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning and rehabilitation skills.
• A person-centred approach and commitment to supporting older people to live independently.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A current Australian driver’s licence and the ability to travel.

We would also love you to have:

• Experience working in community aged care, home care, rehabilitation or disability services.
• Knowledge of the ageing process, positive ageing and self-management principles.
• Experience delivering hydrotherapy, falls prevention, balance, strength or group-based programs.
