About the role
Enrolled Nurses will assess, plan and implement care for residents according to nursing practices and standards, as well as mentor care staff to assist them in providing the highest quality of care at all times.
In this rewarding role, you will work in a team environment and be responsible for ensuring the care needs of our residents enhances & promotes their quality of life. Bringing your friendly nature you will act as an advocate for residents and build effective relationships with them, their families and your team.
Our sites are based in Elizabeth East, Grange, Westbourne Park, and Trott Park.
What can you expect to be doing?
- Deliver the highest quality of clinical care to residents at all times
- Lead by example by mentoring and guiding care staff, assisting them in providing a high level of service to customers
- Provide assistance with daily living activities to achieve an optimal level of independence amongst our residents
- Ensure the care needs of our residents enhances and promotes their quality of life
- Monitor the care provided to our residents and maintain communication with staff around their health status
What do you need to bring?
- Diploma of Nursing and current registration with AHPRA
- At least 6 months' working experience as an Enrolled Nurse
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in clinical documentation
- Evidence of current flu vaccination and three doses of a TGA approved COVID-19 vaccine
