Who are we looking for?
We’re seeking compassionate, qualified Advanced Care Workers to join our Community Aged Care teams across the South and North/North East. You’ll be part of a dedicated, supportive group of professionals helping older South Australians live independently, safely, and with dignity in their own homes.

What can you expect to be doing?
As an Advanced Care Worker, you’ll support customers to live confidently at home while promoting independence and wellbeing. You will:
- Provide personal care, domestic support, meal preparation, medication administration, transport, and social engagement.
- Deliver services in line with individual care plans, focusing on wellness, reablement, and dignity of choice.
- Participate in ongoing training in Restorative Care, Reablement, Palliative and End-of-Life Care.
- Mentor new staff through shadow visits and practical guidance, sharing knowledge and best practice.
- Accurately complete documentation and contribute to continuous improvement across our Community Aged Care services.

What do you need to bring?
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or equivalent) – essential.
- Medication Skill Set:
- CHCSS00070 Assist Clients with Medications OR
- HLTHPS006 Assist Clients with Medication – essential minimum requirement.
- Driver’s licence and reliable, insured vehicle – essential.
- Availability for evenings and weekends as part of a regular 20-hour roster.
- Experience providing in-home care within a wellness and reablement framework.
- Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and commitment to safe, compassionate care.
- Willingness to undertake further upskilling in Restorative and Palliative Care, and support new staff.
- Strong communication and digital skills – confident using smartphones and email for documentation.
