What you’ll do

As Corporate Governance Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring AnglicareSA’s governance practices meet the highest standards.

You’ll work closely with the Company Secretary and Governance team to coordinate key governance, regulatory and legal functions – helping ensure the integrity, transparency, and compliance of AnglicareSA’s operations.

You’ll bring an in-depth understanding of best practice corporate governance principles in Australia, be detail-oriented and possess exceptional organisational skills - ensuring that all tasks are completed with precision and professionalism.

Your work will support the efficient flow of information between our Board, Committees and Executive, helping them make well-informed decisions that impact the lives of South Australians in need. From committee coordination to managing performance reviews, maintaining registers and assisting with the AGM, your days will be varied, fast-paced and purpose-filled.

You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:

  • Providing business support to Committees, Company Secretary and Executive.
  • Managing governance projects within scope, budget, and deadlines; maintaining policies and frameworks.
  • Working closely with the Company Secretary to maintain all registers and manage elections and nominations.
  • Providing Committee and Annual General Meeting support including attending and assisting with agenda preparation meetings, preparing meeting packs and taking accurate minutes.
  • Supporting Committee and Board processes for performance reviews, composition, renewal, succession, recruitment, induction and professional development.

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • A degree in Law or Business with relevant demonstrated governance/senior administration experience
  • Strong understanding of best practice corporate governance principles in Australia
  • Excellent written communication and minute-taking skills with a sharp eye for detail
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • High levels of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality

We would also love you to have:

  • Experience in a governance or secretariat support role
  • Completion of the AICD Director’s Course (desirable)
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders including Boards, Committee members or Executive teams
  • Proven ability to coordinate records, systems and reporting with a governance lens
