Who are we looking for?

Are you passionate about financial empowerment and community support?

We are seeking a dedicated Coordinator to assist in managing financial service programs that make a meaningful impact. In this role you will support the Manager, Community Financial Services by overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with reporting and regulations, supervising staff, maintain a caseload if staff are absent. Additionally, you will facilitate our community financial education programs which aim to help individuals and families build financial literacy and resilience.

Enjoy a part-time position based at Elizabeth, working 3 days per week on a fixed-term contract until June 2026.

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Coordinate financial service delivery, maintain compliance with funding guidelines, and manage reporting obligations
  •  Lead and support staff through coaching, performance reviews, and professional development initiatives
  • Maintain a caseload as required
  •  Support program growth and contribute to funding proposals

What do you need to bring?

  • Proven experience working within financial counselling or financial literacy fields within a community setting
  • Strong leadership, program coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Diploma of Financial Counselling (essential)
  •  SAFCA Membership (or willingness to obtain)
