What you’ll do
As an Accountant at AnglicareSA, you’ll play a vital role in delivering accurate and timely financial services across our Aged Care portfolio.
You’ll ensure month-end processes run smoothly, provide reliable reporting and analysis, and support leaders to make informed, financially sound decisions.
In this role, you'll work closely with a Finance Business Partner, providing high-level support while helping to uphold the integrity of systems, processes, and compliance.
Your expertise will also contribute to audit preparation, budgeting, and the continuous improvement of accounting practices.
You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:
- Managing accurate month-end journals, reconciliations and reporting
- Preparing budget forecasts and supporting annual budget development
- Investigating financial variances and providing actionable insights
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and audit standards
- Enhancing system efficiency and supporting finance-related projects
What you’ll bring
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Degree in Accounting or Commerce, with CA/CPA membership (or working toward it)
- Experience in general accounting, month-end processes and reconciliations
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
We would also love you to have:
- Confidence in using accounting software in a large, complex environment
- A passion for contributing to a values-driven organisation
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities with professionalism and care
