Who are we looking for?

We have a new opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team, supporting various corporate accounting functions as well as the group's financial reporting obligations. Your continuous improvement mindset will drive system and process improvement to allow timely and accurate reporting, which in turn enhance business decision making.

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Ensure the financial reporting and statutory obligations of the group are being met accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist and coordinate the preparation of group consolidated management reports.
  • Coordinate financial month end, semi-annual and year-end process.
  • Maintain the general ledger of the group, including monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Control and maintenance of the fixed assets register and management of CAPEX.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.

What do you need to bring?

  • Degree level qualification in Accounting or Commerce
  • CA/CPA qualification
  • At least 5 years' relevant experience, ideally including auditing
  • Strong technical accounting skills including familiarity with Australian Accounting Standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organised
