Lifestyle Assistant Volunteer

Do you have lots of energy? We want to hear from people who love to be part of the buzz; provide assistance and support in the running of social activities and outings for our customers living within one of our Residential Aged Care programs.

Would you like to contribute to a positive ageing approach within AnglicareSA’s Aged Care programs by assisting the Lifestyle teams with a range of meaningful activities which engage our customers and respect individual choice.

Specific tasks and responsibilities may include;

• Support residents to attend activities and return to their room
• Visit residents, offering one on one activity time eg: reading, conversation, walks, coffee 
• Engage residents in activities of interest that are meaningful and fulfilling
• Assist Lifestyle team with the preparations and the running of the daily program. Activities may include craft activities, carpet bowls, gentle exercise, bingo, gardening and music appreciation

Multiple positions available across all residential aged care sites located at:

• Elizabeth East
• Dutton Court Elizabeth
• Grange
• Trott Park
• Westbourne Park

*Please note all volunteers in Aged Care must have had a current Flu Vaccine and a COVID-19 Vaccine prior to commencement.
