Storesperson

THE OPPORTUNITY

As Storesperson you will provide a customer-focused service by ensuring accurate ordering, receipt, despatch and storage of goods in accordance with established procedures. The role will help coordinate workshop activities and work with Project Management to achieve production targets. The role will also maintain a safe, hygienic and clean environment as per the standard and report any unsafe equipment or potential hazards.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Storeperson, you will ensure the stores function smoothly to provide goods and services to meet production demands.

Your key duties will include:

• Ensuring the stores operate efficiently and accurately to meet production requirements
• Despatching customer orders on time with correct completion of documents
• Picking up jobs for the production team
• Loading and unloading of stock/materials
• Participating in stock takes
• Maintaining accurate stock records and systems
• Ensuring a high standard of customer service is maintained

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Your willingness to be a strong team player with high attention to detail will be complemented by the following:

• Qualifications in transport, warehousing, logistics or distribution are advantageous
• Forklift licence
• Competent in the Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team environment
• High level of drive and motivation
