The Opportunity:

Due to continued growth, Ampcontrol are seeking a driven Project Manager to join our dynamic team based in Kewdale on a Full-Time Permanent basis. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, this role will oversee all elements of project management and coordination on a variety of WA utilities projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with the client to obtain all relevant information in a timely manner; attending project and site meetings to assist with contract design, variation, and any associated issues.
  • Developing comprehensive project plans outlining objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budget requirements.
  • Analysing reports, drawings, schedules, tests, and other data to plan and deliver project work.
  • Ensure the delivery of electrical engineering services related to customer requirements such as consulting, design, testing, maintenance, installation, and commissioning.
  • Effective allocation of resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, coordinating with relevant internal parties to secure necessary resources.
  • Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies, proactively managing risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize impact on project objectives.

What We're Looking For:

Your passion for organised, efficient project delivery, coupled with a willingness to be accountable and take ownership will be complemented by the following:

  • 3+ years of Project Management/Coordination experience within the Utilities industry.
  • Advanced Diploma or Tertiary Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Project Management.
  • Leadership/Management qualifications (Advantageous).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated capabilities in understanding and managing priorities to ensure work is completed on time to a safe and satisfactory level.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Project, Word, Teams, etc.) and ERP/MRP systems.
