ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to provide advanced and specialised accounting activities, with a particular emphasis on timely and accurate statutory reporting, and involves general ledger reconciliations, extending to process and procedure review and improvement.

The role adds value by ensuring the production of timely and accurate financial information to assist in the preparation of the monthly financial statements, annual budget and corporate entity reporting requirements. The success of this position lies in its ability to work closely with the Senior Accountant (Financial Accounting + Taxation) to ensure Ampcontrol’s compliance with all financial statutory reporting requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will have good communication skills and possess the ability to communicate financial & non-financial data concisely and accurately, additional responsibilities include:

• balance sheet reconciliations
• journals processing
• fixed asset register maintenance
• financial reporting
• month end and year end processes

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

While being an operational focused finance professional, you will have:

• Degree level qualifications
• 3+ years experience in a similar position - ideally within an engineering, manufacturing, trade or service-based business;
• Experience using an ERP system;
• Experience in creating and maintaining reports in Power BI or similar is an advantage
