WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES:

  • Working in accordance with Androck’s Behavioural Competencies, Policies, Manuals and Procedures.
  • Increase productivity by completing all repairs and overhauls in a safe and timely manner.
  • Detailed inspections of all disassembled parts for re-usability within specified guidelines.
  • Accurately maintain detailed reports associated paperwork with rebuild or repair tasks.
  • Ensure cleanliness and quality is of the highest standard at all times.
  • Operating heavy machinery, hand tools and lifting equipment
  • Interpretation of job specifications, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Directing and mentoring trades assistants and apprentices where applicable.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in safety, quality and productivity areas of work and bring to the attention to supervisor / manager.
  • Any other associated tasks to meet the business needs within your capability.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Engineering Trade Certificate 
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Experience working with Underground Mining Equipment
  • Strong focus and commitment to Safety
  • Ability to fault find and inspect equipment.
  • Reliable transport and C class licence
  • Knowledge regarding machines such as Continuous Miners & Underground Shuttle Cars and their components
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and hydraulic schematics

Androck has expanded its operations beyond its workshop in NSW and established new business operations in Queensland. As a result, Androck is seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates that we can grow and build within our organisation.
