We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our growing team.
This position is responsible for providing technical support in the design and documentation of products. The primary objective is to deliver compliant, high-quality designs, equipment specifications, bills of materials, and plans in line with relevant standards and documentation.
You will also play a key role in coordinating design issues, quality requirements, specifications, and legislative compliance, while contributing to the development of new and existing products, systems, and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver compliant structural designs, including calculations, specifications, and detailed documentation
- Optimise designs to improve efficiency and reduce construction and manufacturing costs
- Prepare and manage installation documentation, including work packages, risk assessments, and test plans
- Ensure all designs and activities meet relevant standards, NCC requirements, and quality assurance processes
- Coordinate design reviews, monitor quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with Project Managers on tenders, variations, and multi-disciplinary project requirements
- Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical support
- Maintain accurate project documentation and provide timely guidance to internal teams
About You
- Degree or qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering or related discipline
- Hold a Chartered credential (CPEng) and be open to applying for RPEQ (QLD) and VER (VIC)
- Strong understanding of structural design principles, standards, and codes
- Experience with structural analysis, technical documentation, and compliance
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
