THE OPPORTUNITY:

At Ampcontrol, we take great pride in developing the skills of our people to ensure we can deliver the best possible solutions for our customers. Our apprenticeship programs combine structured career development with on-the-job experience and mentoring from some of the best people in the industry.

We are currently offering the following apprenticeships in our 2025 program:

  • Cert III Electrical Apprenticeship
  • Cert III Electrical Fitting Apprenticeship - Tomago
  • Cert III Electronics & Communications Apprenticeship
  • Cert III Engineering / Fabrication Apprenticeship
  • Cert III Mechanical Apprenticeship

These apprenticeships will be offered at various sites across the Hunter, including Tomago, Cameron Park, Warabrook and Rutherford.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

To support Ampcontrol in leading the global energy revolution, we are seeking highly driven and innovative people looking to be part of an organisation where they can grow their career and make a real impact! In addition, you must have:

  • Unlimited Australian working rights
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening.
  • A willingness to work in compliance with our safe working procedures.
  • The ability to demonstrate a positive and willing attitude to learning; both on the job and through a diligent approach to your formal education.
