Electronics Technician

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a motivated, focused and highly skilled Electronic Technician to join our team in Mackay to assist with the overhaul and repair of high-quality electrical products. This role requires working on products utilised in hazardous environments in a manufacturing environment therefore knowledge of relevant standards is highly advantageous.

You will be hands on with in-house designed and manufactured electrical products engineered to international standards, incorporating individual components to provide total electrical solutions for mining, utilities, and heavy industries.

In this role you will be offered the chance to join a skilled team in a workshop environment.

ABOUT YOU:

Your strong service-oriented mindset, coupled with excellent time management skills, will be complemented by the following:

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology or Electronics (or equivalent)
• Ability to follow and work from electrical schematic and wiring diagrams.
• Service, repair, and testing of Intrinsically safe devices.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail and consistency
• Ability to multitask, manage deadlines and prioritize tasks accordingly.
• A proven record and demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.
• Competent in the Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication skills

These roles are not offered as FIFO positions therefore you must reside in Mackay, QLD or be willing to relocate to Mackay to be successful.
