Kick-start your engineering career with Ampcontrol - based in Mackay, QLD

We are currently seeking Graduate Engineers to join our Engineering team and gain hands-on experience working across a diverse range of projects and engineering challenges.

Based in Mackay, this is an opportunity to apply your engineering knowledge to real-world projects while developing your technical skills and gaining exposure to different areas of our business.

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists, contributing to projects from design and product development through to integration, testing, field service and customer solutions.

This opportunity is ideal for graduates who are curious, adaptable and excited by the opportunity to build their engineering career in a supportive, innovative and hands-on environment.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for graduates who are passionate about engineering, enjoy solving problems and are motivated to make a difference.

You will ideally have:

• Completed, or be in your penultimate or final year of, a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics or Renewable Energy Engineering highly regarded)
• A desire to apply engineering theory to real-world industrial challenges
• An interest in seeing your designs and ideas become tangible products and solutions
• An interest in areas such as product development, power systems, automation, integration and control systems
• Curiosity to understand how systems work and how they can be improved
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to tackle complex challenges
• The resilience to learn from setbacks and keep moving forward
• The ability to adapt and remain focused in a changing environment
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to be part of a team
