We are seeking a Cable Repairer to join our Kewdale operation on a full-time basis.
Our Cable Services team plays a critical role in supporting the mining industry, helping keep operations running safely and efficiently.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Trades Assistant / Labourer looking to step into a new career pathway. No prior cable repair experience is required. We’re open to entry-level candidates with the right attitude and work ethic. You’ll receive full on-the-job training and support to develop into a skilled Cable Repairer over time.

Key responsibilities:
- Repairing reeling, trailing and flexible cables
- Testing reeling, trailing and flexible cables
- Inspecting and fitting plugs and couplers
- Verifying compliance of repaired cables
- You will also provide general Trades Assistant support as required, working within a workshop/manufacturing environment.
About you:
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Hands-on or mechanical experience (Trades Assistant backgrounds highly regarded)
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Good attention to detail and confidence using hand tools
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career
Desirable (not essential):
- Forklift ticket
- Dogging / Basic Rigging tickets
