HV Service Technicians

The Opportunity:

The expansion of Ampcontrol services in Western Australia supports the new company vision to lead the global energy revolution. Ampcontrol is focused on diversifying and growing the business with a key focus on renewable energy manufacturing and how it can support customers in decarbonisation and mine site electrification.

Our strategic plans for growth and expansion means that we are now looking for HV Service Technicians to join our team in Kewdale, Western Australia. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in High Voltage statutory testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical installations as part of a professional and positive team.

This role is a not a FIFO position you must reside in Perth or be willing to relocate to Perth to be successful for this role.

These positions offer the opportunity for visa sponsorship for qualified candidates.

What We're Looking For:

Your natural ability to perform work to a high standard, and willingness to work closely with your team will be complemented by the following:

• Electrical trade qualifications.
• HV Switching certificate (Desirable, but not essential).
• Experience with HV & LV electrical switchgear and systems.
• Exposure to HV electrical equipment and systems for mining and utilities.
• Experience with High Voltage switchyard and substation maintenance, minor works & upgrades.
• Service experience in the electrical trades/technical roles.
• A commitment to providing exceptional client and customer service.
• Prepared to travel regularly as required.
