Positioned within our Ringwood Office, we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team.

 Key Requirements:

 · Minimum of 10 years of product design experience, with a proven track record of successful projects.

· Proficiency in polymers, injection moulding, sheet metal fabrication, and welding techniques.

· Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (Solidworks and /or Inventor)

· Demonstrated expertise in design for manufacturing principles to optimize product designs for production efficiency.

· Professional certification as a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) is preferred.

· Demonstrated expertise in analysing complex mechanical systems and solving engineering challenges.

· Experience working with electronics and electrical products is highly desirable.

· Experience in hazardous area equipment design is highly advantageous.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively troubleshoot and optimize designs.

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

· Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.

 Responsibilities:

 · Lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.

· Conduct thorough analysis and testing to validate designs and ensure compliance with industry standards.

· Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the product lifecycle.

· Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

· Prepares works package, inspection test plans, weld procedures to maintain the product quality.
