WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES:

• Compiling and updating assessment sheets
• Assessing jobs and projects including the identification of requirements (scope of work, lead time, materials, labour and process)
• Reviewing assessments, photos, supplier quotations and any other relevant data to compile an accurate quotation
• Populating all relevant information into the estimation spreadsheet
• Record keeping of all relevant information required for quotation (assessment, photos, supplier quotations etc) in the applicable job folder
• Issuing customer quotations and contract variations
• Post review of jobs and projects and implementing corrective actions to improve quotation accuracy on future jobs and projects. 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Proven quotation experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
• A self-starter who has initiative and drive for continual improvement
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong knowledge and experience using suite of Microsoft applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High mathematical aptitude
• Analytical thinker with strong problem solving ability
• Qualification in Estimation/Planning or equivalent 
• Experience and knowledge in the overhaul process of underground mining equipment would be favourable but not essential.
