Civil Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to join our team in the Muswellbrook region commencing in early September and running through to December 2027. This role is suited to a hands-on leader with a strong background in large-scale civil works, particularly within infrastructure or energy projects. You will play a key role in supervising site operations, coordinating crews, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to lead site teams, manage project risks and ensure the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of works in accordance with project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all onsite planning, mobilisation, supervision, and coordination of labour, subcontractors, materials, plant, and equipment.
• Oversee bulk earthworks, excavation, and site preparation
• Coordinate large volume concrete pours (foundations, slabs, structures)
• Ensure accurate installation of electrical conduits and underground services
• Monitor and enforce compliance with project specifications and drawings
• Maintain high standards of QA/QC documentation and reporting
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure WHS compliance
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders

About You

• Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor on large-scale projects
• Minimum 2-3 years of proven Civil Supervisor experience on projects valued between $5-20 million
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, logistics, and site-based coordination.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Strong background in:
• Bulk earthworks
• Heavy machinery and plant coordination
• Large-scale concreting works
• Detailed civil construction
• Electrical conduit installation
• Sound understanding of quality assurance (QA) processes
• Knowledge of site HSE systems and legislative compliance requirements.
• Strong document control and governance capability.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong leadership and communication skills
