The Opportunity

This role provides and delivers integrated strategic and corporate communication services to Ampcontrol’s internal stakeholders. The position is responsible for strengthening employee engagement, partnering closely with senior leaders, and providing clear direction and support to key stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will play a critical role in embedding best-practice internal communications, building trust, and driving engagement across the organisation. Core Communication Streams:

  • Organisational initiatives
  • Internal communications
  • Intranet and internal communication platforms
  • Employee engagement

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Ampcontrol’s internal and corporate communications strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and values
  • Develop and deliver the annual internal communications and employee engagement plan
  • Oversee internal communication channels and platforms, driving continuous improvement in reach, effectiveness and engagement
  • Provide strategic communications leadership and advice to senior leaders and key stakeholders
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, including special events and site-based engagement

About You

You are a strategic communications professional with a proven track record in internal and corporate communications within complex or multi-site organisations. You bring strong stakeholder management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to influence at all levels of the business.

You will also demonstrate:

  • Tertiary or degree qualifications in communications, communication or similar
  • 5 – 10 years’ experience in communications, marketing, or public relation related fields
  • Proven experience in managing communication channels, integrating tools and platforms, and applying effective engagement tactics
  • The ability to build influential, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong project management capability, managing initiatives end-to-end, including reporting, evaluation and analysis
  • Experience working in an industrial or operational environment, with the ability to quickly acquire and apply technical product knowledge
