THE OPPORTUNITY

You will be providing electrical engineering support, direction and project coordination across a wide range of industries, whilst being a primary customer interface. You will create and manage detailed design deliverables and support projects from initiation through to completion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Management of the project engineering budget and where applicable the manufacturing budgeting of projects to successful results.
• Co-ordinating and performing engineering measurements to meet quality, specification and legislative requirements
• Day to day management of projects in the manufacturing facility
• Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management.
• Writing and editing test reports and condition assessments
• Training and developing staff, including Graduate Engineers.
• Support the development of systems and processes that support more effective and efficient project outcomes
• Solve engineering problems related to our products and services
• Build a knowledge base of each client’s business, organisation and objectives, identify relevant opportunities and build on the relationships formed with the client

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Your willingness to be a team player and provide leadership to projects will be complemented by the following:

• Degree level qualifications in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent is highly regarded
• Trade Background is highly regarded.
• Experience in lean manufacturing is highly preferred
• The ability to balance engineering design, project management and contractual elements for multiple projects
• Project management experience is highly regarded.
• Ability to work to financial and budgetary constraints, Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.
• Advanced knowledge of Electrical Engineering, system designs and familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and acceptable industry practices.
