Quality & Stores Assistant

We are seeking a Quality & Stores Assistant to join our Manufacturing Operations team, based at Cameron Park, NSW.

In this hands‑on role, you’ll support both quality inspection and stores activities, ensuring incoming goods meet specifications while maintaining accurate material flow to production. This is a practical, detail‑focused position that plays an important role in protecting product quality and supporting on‑time delivery.

Working closely with Quality, Stores and Manufacturing teams, you’ll contribute to effective inventory management, non‑conformance control and continuous improvement within Ampcontrol’s manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming goods against drawings, specifications and purchase orders
• Identify, record and segregate non‑conforming materials
• Pick, pack and issue materials to production and project requirements
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP system
• Support cycle counts, stocktakes and inventory control activities
• Ensure correct labelling, traceability and storage of materials
• Assist with NCRs, corrective actions and quality documentation
• Support calibration coordination for test and inspection equipment
• Maintain safe, clean and organised work areas in line with HSE requirements

About You

You’re a reliable, detail‑oriented team member who enjoys hands‑on work and takes pride in accuracy and quality. You bring:

• Experience working in a stores, warehouse or Electronics manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and specifications
• Confident computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems
• Good communication skills and a collaborative working style
• A current driver’s licence
