HV Field Service Supervisor – Ampcontrol (Perth, WA)

Lead high‑voltage field service delivery across WA’s energy network.

Ampcontrol is expanding its High Voltage Field Services team and is seeking an experienced HV Field Service Supervisor to lead maintenance, upgrades and service delivery across major utilities, mining, industrial and renewable sectors.

This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, can coordinate multiple teams, and is committed to delivering safe, high‑quality HV electrical services.

“This role is responsible for delivering upgrade and maintenance activities… co‑ordinating resources to deliver associated work on time, on or better than budget, safely and to the highest quality.”

What you’ll be doing

• Leading and mentoring a team of 4–10 HV Field Service Technicians
• Driving safety leadership and ensuring full compliance with HSEQ requirements
• Coordinating HV maintenance, shutdowns, upgrades and protection system work
• Managing labour hours, job planning, scheduling and resource allocation
• Building strong relationships with customers and providing high‑quality reporting
• Supporting estimating, tender responses and work scope reviews
• Managing subcontractors and ensuring timely job close‑out and invoicing
• Contributing to growth strategies across utilities, rail, mining and renewables

What you’ll bring

• Trade‑qualified Electrician (essential)
• Experience in HV maintenance, testing and protection systems
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving capability
• Ability to read, review and update electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Competency with Microsoft Office and test/communications software
• Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
• Ability to multi‑task and lead teams in high‑pressure environments

Desirable:

• Electrical Engineering Diploma or Degree
• Experience with HV protection systems
