Inkerman Panels, a well-established and highly respected automotive repair centre in St Kilda, is looking for an experienced and qualified Panel Beater and a motivated Apprentice Spray Painter to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
Panel Beater
- Assess received parts to ensure accuracy and condition
- Disassemble vehicles in line with job sheet instructions
- Carry out repairs in accordance with OEM repair methods and company standards
- Reassemble vehicles following completion of repairs
- Maintain a high level of care and attention when handling customer vehicles
- Ensure company tools and equipment are maintained in a clean and safe working condition
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures including the use of appropriate PPE
Apprentice Spray Painter
- Assist Spray Painters with vehicle preparation, masking, sanding and priming
- Learn paint mixing and colour matching techniques
- Support the paint team to achieve quality outcomes and production targets
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop trade skills
About You
Panel Beater
- Qualified and experienced Panel Beater (essential)
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- High level of attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently within a team environment
Apprentice Spray Painter
- Genuine interest in the automotive repair industry
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual and motivated to learn
- Ability to work well in a team environment
