Yard Hand

BF Panels is a huge, purpose-built panel shop right next to the Riverina Highway between Albury and Thurgoona, with a large car park, separate towing and storage facility, and 4WD retail outlet on site. The 40-strong team works a 38-hour week (8–4.30) together. They’re backed by all the latest tooling and technology — including two full-size Car-O-Liner systems, computer measuring systems, three Lowbake spray booths, welders, etc.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Yard Hand to join the team at BF Panels, Thurgoona.

If you have a keen interest in the automotive industry and want to build your skills and like variety, then this may be for you!

You will assist and work with our workshop team performing a variety of duties including moving vehicles and tidying of the workshop.

Permanent position, Monday to Friday.

Role responsibilities

• Relocate vehicles from premises to street parking to free up workshop access
• Relocate customer and company vehicles from street into business premises
• Picking up and dropping off customers trucks and buses
• Picking up spare parts from suppliers
• Tag and store keys
• Maintain grounds of premises
• Wash and Detail vehicles when required
• General labour and maintenance as and when required
