Gemini Pinkenba is one of the largest modern accident repair workshops in Queensland, with 33 staff and a team culture that includes everyone. Flexible work hours are available. The team supports one another and enjoys regular BBQs and nights out together, and there are great opportunities to develop your career and progress within the business. The shop is fitted out with modern equipment including pulling racks, Car-O-Liner speed benches, and a fully functional in-house mechanical workshop. The site is conveniently located 5 minutes from the M1 and 12 minutes from Brisbane CBD.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Automotive Assembler/Fitter-Stripper to join the team at Gemini Pinkenba.

Do you have skills in stripping and refitting vehicles? Or are you a skilled mechanic looking for a change?

You will work alongside our technicians and assist in the stripping of cars and refitting their panels and door trims.

Permanent position. Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week or flexible work options available.

Role responsibilities

  • Reassemble vehicles in accordance with documented procedures and processes
  • Test and evaluate reassembly for safety and operability
  • Any ad hoc duties throughout the workshop as directed by leadership
  • Cleaning and polishing vehicles once repairs are complete
  • Ensuring the vehicle is cleaned in accordance with documented processes and procedures
