About Gemini Wacol

Located just off the Ipswich Motorway in Brisbane’s western corridors, Gemini Wacol is a well-established repair shop. As part of the wider AMA Group you will be provided with ample career progression and long-term employment. With a dedicated team of 26, we operate out of a modern, fully-equipped facility that includes top-tier welders and side-loading spray booths.

We’re looking for an experienced Automotive Paint Prepper to join our AMA Collision team at Gemini Wacol.

What You'll Do

• Preparing vehicles for paint, including priming, buffing, and denibbing
• Ensuring a high-quality surface is ready for spraying, as per the job sheet
• Handling all vehicles with care and attention to detail
• Maintaining a clean and organised work bay
• Following all OH&S and PPE protocols to keep yourself and the team safe

• Previous experience in paint preparation or automotive painting
• A strong focus on quality and safety
• Great attention to detail and pride in your work
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work well in a team
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
