The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead our busy collision repair centre in Breadalbane.
This is a pivotal leadership role where you will be responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations, driving performance, and ensuring every repair is completed safely, efficiently, and to OEM standards.
As a key member of the leadership team, you'll inspire your people, optimise workflow, and help deliver an outstanding experience for both customers and insurers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and promote a safe, productive, and high-performing workshop culture
- Manage the end-to-end repair process from vehicle arrival through to delivery
- Ensure repairs are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Coordinate parts, paint, labour, and consumables to maximise workshop efficiency
- Drive productivity and performance to achieve operational targets
- Support site profitability while maintaining exceptional customer outcomes
- Mentor, motivate, and develop team members to achieve their full potential
- Maintain strong workshop organisation, compliance, and quality control processes
About You
You're a confident and capable leader with experience in the collision repair industry and a passion for developing people and improving performance.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in a Production Manager, Workshop Manager, or similar leadership position
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven ability to prioritise workloads, solve problems, and meet deadlines
- Confidence in coordinating teams and delegating tasks effectively
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel)
- A genuine commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- A professional, reliable, and proactive approach
