The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Paint Prepper / Trade Assistant to join the team at RMA Mornington.

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare, prime, buff, and denib vehicles as per job sheet
• Assist technicians and spray painters with general workshop duties
• Move vehicles in and out of the workshop or spray booth
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workshop and work bays
• Handle all vehicles with due care and attention
• Assist with masking, sanding, or basic panel preparation
• Organise tools and consumables for tradespeople
• Adhere to our OH&S policy including use of PPE

• Previous experience in a prepper, painting, or trade assistant role (automotive preferred)
• Strong commitment to working in a safe manner
• High attention to detail
• Be reliable, punctual, and a team player
