AMA Collision Mackley St is Townsville’s trusted one-stop shop for top-quality spray-painting, panel beating, and mechanical repairs. With a large, friendly team that fosters a family atmosphere, we take immense pride in our workmanship. Having been a staple of quality and efficiency in Townsville for over 30 years, we moved to our modern, spacious workshop in Garbutt five years ago. Our new facility is clean, well-organised, and conveniently located just off Woolcock St.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Automotive Vehicle Assembler to join our team at AMA Collision Mackley St, Garbutt.

Are you an experienced mechanic looking for a change or already in the motor industry and skilled at stripping and refitting vehicle components? If so, this role could be perfect for you!

You’ll work closely with our technicians, assisting in stripping cars and refitting panels and door trims. We offer attractive pay for your skills and experience. Previous experience in the automotive industry is essential.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Reassemble vehicles according to documented procedures and processes
  • Test and evaluate vehicle reassembly for safety and operability
  • Assist with ad-hoc duties throughout the workshop as directed by leadership
