The Opportunity

We have a great opportunity for a qualified and experienced Panel Beater to join our rapidly expanding Heavy Motor site, based in Beresfield.

This role is fulltime, permanent and will be working on our 4 and ½ day working week with 12 noon finishes on Friday’s.

As a Heavy Vehicle Panel Beater, you will be responsible for repairing and replacing damaged bodywork on trucks and buses, using welding and cutting techniques and specialised equipment.

Role responsibilities

• Removing, repairing and replacing damaged panels, frames, and other components, ensuring the reassembly of vehicle back to the pre accident condition.
• Using various tools and techniques to shape, cut, and weld metal panels.
• Check received parts on arrival.
• Disassemble vehicle as per Job Sheet.
• Ensuring that all work performed meets industry and safety standards.
• Repair vehicle as per the Repair Method, OEM standards and in accordance with Estimate and Job Sheet.
• Handle all vehicles with due care and attention.
• Handle all company tools and equipment with due care and attention ensuring they remain safe, clean and in a workable condition.
• Adhere to our OH&S policy including PPE.
