The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Officer to join the team at Wales Heavy Vehicle Repair.
As a Customer Service Officer, you will assist and support our wider team and management with administrative tasks while providing customers with updates regarding their vehicle repairs.
This is a permanent, full-time position, working Monday to Friday.
Role responsibilities
- Ensuring the environment is always customer-friendly
- Greeting customers on arrival
- Keeping customers informed about the repair process and anticipated completion dates for their vehicles
- Contacting customers to ensure they are satisfied with their AMA experience
- Managing telephone and email correspondence
- Supporting management with inventory administration (parts, paint, consumables, etc.)
- Liaising with insurance providers regarding claims and repairs

- Proven experience in a customer service role
- Highly professional and personable, with strong relationship-building skills
- Strong systems experience and competent computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment
