- Work alongside the Nurse Unit Manager in our Mixed Ward
- Take lead on the day to day operations for our Aged Care Residents
- Monday - Friday (AM shifts)
- Collaborate with, lead and provide mentorship to the team
- Champion safe, high quality person centred care
- Participate in committee's that support Residential Aged Care

Who we are looking for
The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) is a key member of Alpine Health’s clinical leadership team. The successful candidate will work alongside the NUM in our Mixed Ward and take the lead on the day to day operations for our Residents in our Aged Care Service. As a clinical leader within the nursing team, the ANUM plays an integral role in the day to day coordination of clinical care, as well as the operational management of the unit, including supporting the Nurse Unit Manager with human resources, change management and ensuring safer care outcomes. The ANUM will demonstrate a high level of skill in clinical practice, delivering professional and collaborative health services consistent with the clinical, strategic and operational objectives of Alpine Health.
Essential
- Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration - Registered Nurse
- 5+ years of experience as an Registered Nurse with solid clinical skills and ability and a genuine commitment to team work and quality improvement
- Advanced Life Support certified
Desirable
- Post graduate studies in nursing, clinical care or leadership

Alpine Health is a progressive Multi-Purpose Service with three sites in the Alpine Shire towns of Bright, Mount Beauty and Myrtleford.
Alpine Health provides integrated Acute Health, Community Health and Community and Aged Residential Services for residents and visitors of the Alpine Shire.
