Advance Your Career as a Senior Control Systems Engineer
Ready to take the lead on complex automation projects and work directly with some of Western Australia's leading industrial operations?
We're looking for an experienced Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our growing Perth team. This is a hands-on role with plenty of site exposure, giving you the opportunity to work closely with clients, solve real operational challenges, and deliver automation solutions that make a genuine impact.
Working with Rockwell and Citect platforms, you'll play a key role in the design, development, commissioning, optimisation, and ongoing support of control systems across a diverse range of industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of control systems projects from concept through to commissioning and handover
- Work directly with clients to understand operational requirements and develop practical automation solutions
- Design, develop, test, and commission control system solutions using Rockwell and Citect technologies
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers within the team
- Support site-based activities including commissioning, shutdowns, troubleshooting, upgrades, and maintenance
- Build strong, long-term client relationships through exceptional technical delivery
- Contribute to a culture focused on safety, quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience delivering control systems projects within mining, resources, utilities, manufacturing, or heavy industry
- Strong experience working with Rockwell and Citect systems
- The ability to engage confidently with clients, operators, and project stakeholders
- A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving and project delivery
- A current Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong commissioning and troubleshooting experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A proactive mindset and commitment to safe work practices
