With the support, guidance and mentorship of our internal Commercial Lawyer, you will help strengthen our contract management capability, governance standards and risk management approach.

You will take responsibility for contracts across their lifecycle and play a key part in:

  • Strengthening commercial governance frameworks
  • Improving contract quality, consistency and outcomes
  • Supporting delivery teams with clear, practical commercial guidance

You’ll be part of a team that believes in working together, taking ownership, and continuously improving how we deliver for our customers.

What you’ll be doing

Contract Management

·        Draft, review and coordinate contracts, amendments, variations and associated commercial documentation in collaboration with key stakeholders

·        Ensure contract terms are robust, compliant and aligned with legal and business requirements, including confidentiality, intellectual property and liability considerations

·        Manage contracts through to close-out, ensuring obligations are clearly understood, actively managed and consistently delivered

·        Monitor key milestones, commitments and deadlines to support successful project outcomes and minimise risk

·        Maintain accurate, up-to-date contract records and document management systems to support governance, traceability and audit readiness

·        Provide clear guidance and support to internal stakeholders on contract processes, requirements and best practice

·        Identify and implement improvements to contract management processes and systems to enhance efficiency, consistency and overall performance

  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency

Commercial Governance & Risk

  • Identify, assess and help mitigate commercial risks within contracts
  • Support the application of contract governance frameworks, policies and approval processes
  • Escalate non-standard terms and material risks where required
  • Assist project teams in understanding contractual obligations and risk exposure
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of contract templates, standards and controls
  • Support compliance requirements and maintain audit-ready documentation

HSEQ Culture

  • Contribute to a people-first culture, where safety, wellbeing and respect are prioritised
  • Support a proactive and positive approach to HSEQ, quality and accountability
  • Play a role in continuously improving how we work, deliver and support one another

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking a capable, commercially aware professional who can work independently, communicate effectively, and bring structure to a fast-moving environment.

Ideally, you will bring:

  • 5–7 years’ experience in contracts administration or a similar role
  • A solid understanding of contract terms, commercial structures and risk allocation
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and manage commercial risk
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management systems

Relevant qualifications in project management, contract administration, or a related field are well regarded. A degree in business, law or similar is beneficial but not essential.
