· Oversee endpoint standards, deployment, security, support and lifecycle management, together with identity and access controls.
· Develop and maintain technical standards, repeatable deployment patterns, procedures, appropriate system documentation and support records, and contribute to relevant business policies.
· Provide practical recommendations that consider security, engineering requirements, cost, usability and supportability.
· Lead approved infrastructure, cloud, endpoint and security initiatives through design, implementation, testing, handover and documentation.
· Maintain monitoring, patching, vulnerability management, change control and incident response practices.
· Support business continuity planning and maintain, document and test backup and IT disaster recovery arrangements.
· Provide technical input to procurement, licensing, vendor selection, renewals and service-provider performance.
Essential Experience and Capability
The successful candidate will typically have at least 5 years of relevant experience, including demonstrated responsibility for complex enterprise systems and significant hands-on experience in networking and Microsoft cloud or hybrid environments.
