Senior OT Engineering Consultant

The opportunity:

A fantastic opportunity is currently available for an experienced and talented Senior OT Engineering Consultant with a solid understanding of OT Cybersecurity to join our ever growing OT team. This role will be based in Newcastle.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams in engineering, operations, and cybersecurity to deliver automation strategies, optimise asset performance, and support digital transformation initiatives through edge computing and advanced analytics.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Consultation with clients to establish requirements and scope of works
  • Taking a leading role in the engagements relating to OT Cybersecurity including as examples the following:
  • Conducting Cybersecurity Risk Assessments, 
  • Development Cybersecurity policies, procedures and standards, 
  • Conducting Cybersecurity Compliance reviews / assessments
  • Developing Cybersecurity compliance security control architectures and recommendations
  • And more…
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and on schedule
  • Providing on-going support to our customers
  • Supporting and driving a HSEQ centric culture within the company

Experience and Skills:

Mandatory:

  • 5+ years’ demonstrated experience consulting and executing OT Cybersecurity engagements across multiple industries
  • Current Australian Driving Licence

Highly Desirable:

  • Strong understanding and demonstratable experience with IEC 62443 (certifications within IEC 62443 would be an advantage)
  • Strong OT Infrastructure and Networking experience across multiple vendor technology portfolio (e.g. Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, VMware, NetApp, Nutanix, Microsoft, RedHat, etc)

Desirable:

  • Experience with controls systems including both SCADA and/or DCS systems, PLCs and RTU field equipment
  • Experience with Industry communications systems including, Satellite, Microwave, Digital Radio, Fibre, etc
