Bayside Health

Bayside Health is a public health service delivering high-quality care across every stage of life for close to 1.2 million people living in metropolitan Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula, Koo Wee Rup, Bass Coast and Southern Gippsland.   • Permanent position – 0.8 – 1.0 EFT available
  • HS4 with over award salary (Up to $100k p.a. depending on experience)
  • Flexible location across any Bayside Health site

The Role

The Board Administrative Officer reports to the Board Secretary and is responsible for providing high level administrative and governance support for the effective and efficient operations of the Bayside Health Board and Board Committees.

You will:

  • Provide assistance in the coordination of Board related activities
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing timely and accurate advice as required
  • Organise and support the conduct of in-person and virtual meetings of the Board and Board Committees
  • Coordinate public engagements and functions of the Board
  • Provide timely support to Board directors, including arranging meetings and facilitation of IT and administrative support
  • Seek to continuously improve systems, processes and workflows that support Board operations

Skills 

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Relevant experience with a proven ability to provide a broad range of administrative support with a high degree of accuracy
  • Diligence, integrity, professionalism, and a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
  • Excellent written skills with a high degree of attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to balance competing demands
  • Advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products
