Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services.

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP SuccessFactors.

As the Project Manager – SuccessFactors, you will be responsible for delivering a large-scale HRIS transformation project. You will oversee planning, execution, stakeholder engagement, governance, risk management, and go-live activities across all SuccessFactors modules, including Employee Central, Payroll, Recruitment, Onboarding, and Performance.

Department

The Finance Program provides financial and ancillary services to Alfred Health. These include Financial Accounting, Financial Services, Data and Analytics, Performance Monitoring and Reporting, Capital Expenditure and Asset Management, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Patient Revenue Services, Treasury, HRIS and Payroll, Procurement, Property and Supply Chain.

Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager will oversee the complete delivery of the SAP SuccessFactors (SF) implementation, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets the agreed strategic, operational, and user goals. The role includes managing internal and external stakeholders, project governance, resourcing, risk, change management, and quality assurance across all SF modules in scope (e.g., Employee Central, Payroll, Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of the SAP SuccessFactors implementation
  • Build strong relationships with HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, and vendor partners
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans and cross-functional teams
  • Establish governance frameworks and provide executive-level reporting
  • Manage budgets, vendor contracts, and resource allocation
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Drive change management and communication strategies
  • Ensure quality assurance and business continuity during go-live

About You

You are a strategic and results-driven leader with:

  • 7–10 years’ experience managing complex HRIS or ERP implementations
  • Proven success delivering SAP SuccessFactors or similar cloud-based HCM systems
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile)
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills
  • Experience in healthcare, government, or regulated industries (desirable)
  • Formal PM qualifications (PMP, PRINCE2) and/or SAP SuccessFactors certification (desirable)
