The Department
Caulfield Community Health (CCH) provides a range of clinical and health promotion services for people of all ages who live, work or study within the local community. These multi-disciplinary services are provided in the centre, community, home or via telehealth. CCH operates from the Caulfield Hospital site at Alfred Health.
The Role
The Administration Officer is a multi‑skilled role responsible for delivering high‑quality administrative, reception, and secretarial support upport to Caulfield Community Health Service, Caulfield Pain Management clinic and Alfred Health Community Rehabilitation Program. The position provides a professional first point of contact for clients, carers, community members, health professionals, and external agencies. Duties may include and not be limited to, reception duties, appointment booking, provision of information to consumers, data collection and entry, medical record management, fee collection, financial reconciliation, requisition/ordering, internal and external account processes.
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Well-developed administrative, reception and telephone skills
- Effective time management and avility to prioritse workload
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office applications
- Understanding of confidentiality, privacy requrements and relevant legislation
- Ability to follow organisational policies, procedures and work systematically with a high level of accountability
