Bayside Health is a public health service delivering high-quality care across every stage of life for close to 1.2 million people living in metropolitan Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula, Koo Wee Rup, Bass Coast and Southern Gippsland. Department
Alfred Mental & Addiction Health (AMAH) is responsible for the operation of services which focus on people with a mental illness residing in the Inner South Eastern area of Melbourne.
The Adult In-Patient team is comprised of dedicated and compassionate nursing, allied health, lived experience and medical staff. We celebrate diversity within our workforce with a genuine interest in each other’s wellbeing. Our team is committed to delivering a timely and effective range of treatments and interventions for the treatment of acute, severe mental health issues. We aim for treatment and intervention to be personal, safe, connected and effective. Our treating team will work together to provide the best practice treatment for mental and physical health, to assist recovery. We value higher learning and support our team with frequent professional development opportunities and regular professional supervision.
What you’ll be doing
As a valued member of a supportive team, you will provide a variety of direct care services to consumers according to established procedures, specific guidelines and standard instructions.
About you
You will have good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
AHA Level 1: Tertiary qualifications and/or enrolment in a course in relevant discipline
AHA Level 2: Four years' experience or two years and an appropriate qualification
AHA Level 3: Seven years of relevant experience or at least five years' experience and an appropriate qualification
Experience in working within the mental health sector and accommodation is desirable.
